ChipMOS REPORTS AUGUST 2023 REVENUE

HSINCHU, Sept. 8, 2023/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. ("ChipMOS" or the "Company") (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 8150 and NASDAQ: IMOS), an industry leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services ("OSAT"), today reported its unaudited consolidated revenue for the month of August 2023. All U.S. dollar figures cited in this press release are based on the exchange rate of NT$31.87 to US$1.00 as of August 31, 2023.

Revenue for the month of August 2023 was NT$1,833.0 million or US$57.5 million, representing a slight decrease of 0.2% from July 2023, and an increase of 6.9% from August 2022.

The Company noted August's high single-digit year-over-year revenue growth, which was essentially flat on a month-over-month basis, reflects additional stabilization in loading levels of its DDIC high-end test platform, and further signs of improvement in its Memory business.
