SBF adjusts its 2026 earnings forecast following the provisional insolvency administration of a customer

Leipzig, 30 September 2026 – SBF AG (ISIN: DE000A2AAE22, WKN: A2AAE2), a listed specialist in innovative solutions for rail vehicles, lighting, electromechanics and sensor technology, has been informed that one of its customers is subject to provisional insolvency administration. As of today, outstanding receivables from this customer amount to approximately EUR 1.0 million. SBF expects a significant portion of the receivables to be uncollectible; recoveries from collateral or from the insolvency proceedings are not included in the adjusted forecast and would improve the result accordingly.

The expected bad debt loss will reduce EBITDA for fiscal year 2026 by EUR 0.8 million to EUR 1.0 million. SBF is therefore adjusting its EBITDA forecast for fiscal year 2026 and now expects EBITDA to range from EUR 0.9 million to EUR 1.5 million (previously: EUR 1.8 million to EUR 2.4 million).
