EQS-News: VERIANOS SE: VERIANOS SE files for insolvency – Capital management company and managed investment funds not directly affected.

Cologne, July 25, 2024 – The Board of Directors of VERIANOS SE (ISIN: DE000A0Z2Y48) has decided to file for insolvency for VERIANOS SE with the competent District Court of Cologne. The devaluation of individual projects and investments in group companies, as well as the delay of expected project revenues, led to a deterioration in short- to medium-term financial and liquidity planning. Financing discussions with potential investors did not lead to a solution.

VERIANOS Capital Partners GmbH, which manages five closed-end special AIFs as an external AIF capital management company, believes it is able to fully meet its obligations under the management contracts of the managed investment companies. The company will promptly contact all fund investors and other stakeholders to closely inform them about the next steps.
