    - Net asset value increases by almost 12%

Sarnen, March 14, 2025 - Matador Secondary Private Equity AG generated a profit of CHF 6.3 million in the 2024 financial year and the net asset value increased by almost 12%.

Matador has broadly diversified investments in around 1,000 companies via 22 private equity funds. The portfolio performance of recent years shows that our secondary private equity strategy can generate excellent returns even in turbulent times. As a result, Matador expects another successful financial year next year: the developments in the first quarter of 2025 already clearly show this.
Private equity is equity capital that is made available to companies by investors. In contrast to traditional lending by banks, an investor participates directly in the company in order to support its development and share in its success.
In the current financial year, Matador Secondary Private Equity AG generated income from investments, securities, value adjustments to investments and interest income in addition to income from private equity investments. With regard to future new investments, we will maintain our successful strategy, reinvest profits and continue to expand our portfolio.
