Morningstar Sustainalytics reaffirms Siltronic’s sustainability performance

Munich, August 8, 2025 – In June 2025, Morningstar Sustainalytics ranked Siltronic in the top 14 percent of semiconductor companies worldwide for its ESG risk ratings, once again recognizing the company’s strong commitment to sustainability. Morningstar Sustainalytics evaluates companies on a scale from 0 to 100 (0 = low risk, 100 = high risk), assessing their exposure to ESG risks and how effectively they manage them. With a score of 17.9 (low risk), Siltronic has reaffirmed its position on a solid sustainability path.

“This positive evaluation from Morningstar Sustainalytics is a valuable affirmation of our ongoing efforts to minimize ESG risks for both our company and our stakeholders,” said Claudia Schmitt, CFO of Siltronic AG. “The rating motivates us to further advance our sustainability initiatives.”

With this result, Siltronic has also met the targets for its ESG-linked promissory note loan for 2025, resulting in an interest rate advantage. This underscores the company's commitment to combining sustainability and financial incentives and confirms Siltronic's approach to achieving technological progress and economic growth in harmony with environmentally and socially responsible behavior.
