Samsung Electronics plans to relocate the headquarters of its U.S. subsidiary from New Jersey to Texas later this year, industry sources said Monday. The company recently notified employees of its decision to move the office from Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, to Plano, Texas. The relocation comes just a year after Samsung Electronics moved its U.S. headquarters from Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, to the nearby Englewood Cliffs. "We are preparing for the relocation with the goal of completing the move within this year," a company official said on condition of anonymity. "After a thorough review, we will finalize plans for headquarters operations and workforce allocation."
